Therapy for Self-Esteem, Relationship Struggles & Childhood Trauma

Helping find peace, self-love, connection, and control in life again.

Life’s challenges can feel dark, heavy, or even impossible to deal with.

Most people who start therapy with me feel stuck repeating the same painful patterns.

Perhaps you can relate; maybe you don’t look forward to much or you feel like life is out of control.

Do you struggle with numbness, emptiness, feeling defeated?

Do any of the following resonate with you?

  • You feel as if your emotions are a rollercoaster, with sharp twists and turns that can come at any moment.

  • You feel lonely and disconnected, even when you are with others.

  • You find yourself reacting and behaving in ways for which you later feel regret, shame, and discouragement.

  • You have long felt like you just can't get it right, there must be something wrong with, or weird about, you and maybe you're not deserving of something better.

If these sound true for you, I want you to know that even though you might feel like a failure or broken for needing help, that couldn’t be further from the truth. It takes courage to become aware about what you are going through and ask for help.

Even if you don’t believe you deserve care, you do. You deserve to receive care and the support to connect with your inner strengths, security and confidence that may still lie undiscovered.

Therapy for self-esteem, relationship struggles & childhood trauma can help you live a more fulfilled life.

It’s possible to feel better. Imagine a life where you could…

  • Feel deep and stable connections in your life with friends, romantic partners, and family.

  • Improve your relationship with yourself and those you choose to share yourself with.

  • Feel more sense of control in your life, emotional world, and relationships.

  • Grab onto your emotional steering wheel and direct your emotions in the way you'd like them to flow.

  • Have confidence in your understanding of your relationships and your capacity to relate to others in a way that brings relational security, stability, and fulfilling depth.

  • Believe that there is absolutely nothing wrong with you, and that you are just as worthy, special, and deserving as anyone else.

  • Create a more meaningful life based on who you are and what you desire.

  • Get to the root problems and solve those instead of using band-aids.

  • Have the loving relationships you’ve always wanted.

Navigate life's challenges with ease.

Therapy for self-esteem, relationship struggles & childhood trauma can help you rise above challenges and start moving towards your ideal life with less suffering and more fulfillment. How therapy for self-esteem, relationship struggles & childhood trauma works

This therapy consists of 50-minute, one-on-one sessions that help you work through your concerns. In addition to listening, I will guide you towards solutions and provide guidance based on my experience and expertise in brain science; I play an active role. Here’s how it will work step-by-step:

1. First, I provide a safe, accepting space so that you will feel comfortable sharing your struggles and story with me.
2. Through hearing your story, I will start to get a picture of what your challenges are.
3. We will start with helping you with immediate concerns like managing difficult emotions and challenging life situations
4. We will also work to discover what your goals are in therapy and in life.
5. Keeping your unique goals in mind, we’ll figure out approaches are needed to help you reach them, whether that is incorporating Internal Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, combined with additional approaches.
6. Over the course of our sessions, you will start making progress towards the life you desire.
7. We will have routine check-ins regarding your progress along the course of our work together.
